for me, Evening Primrose oil helps me a lot, as does B6.
I've heard that starflower oil is even better than e.primrose but I haven't tried it.
B6 (Pyridoxine), B12 (Cyanocobalamin) & Folic Acid (Folate)
They are also important for TTC
I've found that DHA and EPA help me with mood and pain associated with PMS too.
I take PABA, which according to the Vitamin Shoppe may help boost fertility. I've never read anything that suggests it should help with PMS but without PABA I have cramping, tender breasts, bloating, etc. for two weeks. With PABA, I have mild cramping the day I start my period and nothing else. I take one 500 mg tablet a day every day. I don't know why it works, but after months of taking it with no PMS symptoms to complain about, I stopped for a month and it was the nightmare all over again.
Vitamin Shoppe sells a bottle of 100 tablets for about $6.00, so just one bottle is cheaper than a bottle of Motrin and if it helps, hoorah. If it doesn't, you're not out a lot of money.
By the way, PABA stands for Para-Ambinobenzoic Acid.
Hope it helps
