I took it for a week but my tummy got too upset so I stopped. I also got itchy all over so I don't think my body took to it.
I then decided to try B6 and evening primrose supplements and they worked a treat! I take both for the first two weeks of my cycle (as eve primrose can cause uterine cramping so you shouldn't take it after ovulation).
The two supplements really worked for me - my last cycle i had a 16 day luteal phase!!!! i couldn't believe it! (am hoping it's not a fluke) the evening primrose oil also helped me with breast pain and it's supposed to be good for your cycle in general.
good luck! i hope the vitex works for you but if not i would suggest trying the b6 and eve pr oil. We all respond differently - it's worth a try!
I take Vitex and dont' know if it really helps or not, but its cheap enough, why not! I used to take Fertility Blend, which has Vitex as it's main ingredient. My hair grew really fast and my nails were thick and nice. I don't know if it helped with my fertility but I did see other changes in my body.
I think I'll try the Flaxseed Oil supplement. I've heard good and bad things about Vitex and I just wanted to hear what other people thought of it. We'll see what happens.
Thanks to everyone for their comments!
