First off what you're feeling is perfectly normal. My husband and I have infertility counseling which helps. I still get upset when someone announces a pregnancy.

The thing is one of our beats friens anounced that they were pregnant and we havent seen them in a while but in a couple of weeks we getting together and I just dont know how I will react when I see them again, cause since i found out Ive been crying alot.

I completely understand and no matter how hard you try to tell yourself that its no ones fault you still can't help but to be upset about it. I am 24 years old and just suffered my 2nd ectopic pregnancy that resulted in losing my last tube, now I cannot naturally have a baby and every time someone announces it I can't help but to cry either.

I completely know how you feel, I just posted almost the same thing! It's a terrible feeling! my best friend just announced that she is pregnant with baby #2 while I was sitting in my gyno appt getting more bad news. I was crushed :( everywhere I look there are pregnant women and babies, I've started to have bad anxiety and depression. My intention is not to bring you down but to just know that I can relate and I'm sure many other women can too, it's just hard to find them lol anyways wishing you the best of luck and hope you get a bfp soon!

I am struggling with the same thing, recently my brother in law announced he and his girlfriend are pregnant, unplanned, and completely threw me off guard. I have never felt resentment and jealousy to this level in my life. I hit a point where I felt depressed and was anxious most of the time. I have come to realize, especially through this community, that while it's painful, it's also a very normal response. Saying that, I try to just accept my emotions, not push them away, and when I feel somewhat ready to let them go (even momentarily) I distract myself by engaging in completely different things. It doesn't always work, but I also don't want to sit in those feelings day in and day out. I recently started counselling and started journaling specific to this issue. My counsellor suggested I make the effort to connect with even a couple people who are supportive to me to talk about it, which was the opposite of my tendency to isolate. I reached out to my friend who also had a lot of difficulty conceiving and had a lovely dinner. I also reached out to another friend who even though she got pregnant super easy and young, she is a great listener and support. Nothing took the pain away....but this last two weeks has been better than the couple before. I hope you can find something to you cope.

Please know you are not alone! My hubby and I have been trying for over 2 years now. In the beginning of our fertility journey I didn't find other peoples pregnancies to be depressing for me. I am a counselor, and I am generally a positive person. Recently, I have been feeling angry and upset as I see (what seems like) everyone around me getting pregnant. Yesterday, my fertility doctor and I had a little therapy session. She suggested a hiatus from social media for the time being, and I agreed. We are a military family, so other than social media, I really am not in the loop with who is pregnant and who is not.

I know the feeling! Every pregnancy announcement you see is a stab in the heart. Try and take some time away from social media like FB & IG because they are loaded with them. What's helped me the most is staying busy, get out of the house and do something for yourself each month, or if you stay home watch something funny or do some chores just to keep your mind busy. It's ok to be sad and let yourself cry it out <3

Let it out girl! This ish is so hard! Make a “dwelling” or crying/ journaling time every day and just let it out. Even set a timer. This is just so so hard. Sending love

I know...how you feel. Been trying for while now. Had a BFN 2 days ago on my first IVF cycle via FET. 2 embies was in..but got AF yesterday. Was devasted... cried myself to sleep. Its a very lonely place...at the moment.

thank you for all your responses I'm glad to see that this is not just a one person thing. I know it is hard to discuss how you feel about it I know every time I just start crying its very hard. In a weeks time I'm seeing this friend that I mentioned above and I'm seriously freaked out on how I will be handling this situation I'm so scared I feel like crawling under a duvet and never getting out. this weekend I just saw a photo of the bump and I started crying and it feels so unfair. ladies how do you deal with confrontations like this how do you stay calm and not loose your cool? :-(
