I am just curious if those of you who have done IVF before had any unforeseen costs come up during your cycle??
We have our meeting scheduled for the 15th to discuss our upcoming cycle and receive our calendar but I want to know, going in to that meeting, what to expect.
Our RE already provided us with his fee's for each cycle and it looks like a fresh cycle will be about $10,500 without meds. He said to plan on paying between $3-4,000 for the medications. Did you have any additional costs that we might not have planned or budgeted for??

We went to an IVF center that is part of a hospital, so I believe the cost was a little less since the hospital clinic is a not for profit center. We also got the meds at cost from the hospital pharmacy.
Do you have any options of going to a hospital based IVF center?
