Two Week Wait

I am at the tail end of the two week wait, and all I can say is, this is so hard! Any advice is so appreciate. I took up knitting (how silly), but I just needed something to keep my mind busy.Work has been super busy, which is good, but the minute I am not busy, my mind drifts, and go on a frantic Googling frenzy.


Also am bindge watching 'This Is Us'... haha :)..this has helped a lot!


Really looking forward to Monday (19th), but also so scared of bad news. I've never prayed so hard for anything in my life. All things considered, I've tried to stay calm, stay positive, but at the same time, trying to be realistic as well.

Praying for you!!! My husband and I went for an IVF consult and I can still here the nurse tell me that those 2 weeks are the hardest in your life. Can’t wait to hear back from you with great news ♥️

MelYou and AmberLPN86, unfortunately we found out that I had an early miscarriage. It's been a very sad few days over here, but finally I am feeling a bit more of myself, and surprisingly relieved and unburdened that at least we have a definitive answer. I had 7 positively (darker everyday) pregnancy tests over 5 days, and a positive first beta. By the second beta, the HcG levels had dropped to nearly zero. I knew in my heart and just by changes in my body that the very early pregnancy was no longer. I have never had a positive pregnancy test before, so I really thought this was our time, but God has greater plans.

Praying for peace that passes all understanding.

Good luck to both of you!!! The road of fertility is a long and winding one, but in the end, I know the best is yet to come!

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Our 1st ICSI cycle ended with early miscarriage and that was a complete heartbreak for both of us. Our next option - de ivf, experienced shot#1 - bfn. I can say for sure this part of the cycle that involves waiting to hear the "news" may be exhausting and agonising. And it is not unusual to feel a bit isolated and insecure, as after all those doctor’s appointments, consultations, scans and tests, there is nothing you can do but wait. Each I was monitoring my body for signs of early pregnancy. Or for signs that I felt might mean my menstrual bleeding would soon begin. For all of us it is like being on a rollercoaster of hope and fear. And it really is, and it's awfully hard to survive. But every other step, though being unsuccessful, brings us closer to our aim. Docs do their job and investigate the case. They make improvements to the treatment plan and finally it works. I'm praying for you and every lady struggling for the coming luck and greatest happiness in lives. Take care, stay strong, sending huge supportive hugs xx
