It is optimal to be in the best shape you can be for your unborn child, but I don't think and occaisonal glass of wine will hurt.
Now, if you are drinking and getting hammered because you are depressed, then that is a whole other story...not a good combo because alcohol is a depressant so it just makes it worse...believe me, been there done that.

I also suffer from some anxiety and depression, going on about 15 years on and off. Alcohol is really not recommended when you're trying to conceive.
I have PCOS so I have been told to steer clear of alcohol in general. Alcohol has sugar and it makes my poor little polycystic ovaries act up, so I have to just say no.
I think an occasional drink is ok, but if you can it's probably advisable to abstain. For most women, it's not a big deal but for those of us who have trouble TTC, it's best not to drink.
I have made my husband cut his drinking down. (he's a homebrewer and a microbrew fanatic) and his sperm count has gotten much better.
