Good news. We talked to both of our families this weekend. Both the in-laws and my parents are more than willing than helping us with the cost of IVF. It actually is going to be pretty affordable divided by 3 couples. My Dad has amazing credit and willing to get a loan for us. I am so relieved! This is the best news I have had in a long time. Feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't feel guilty for asking for help which I thought I would. They were all completely supportive and I am so thankful for that.
We got the IVF packet in the mail explaining all the steps involved. Pretty overwhelming but I know it's going to be worth it. I will be on BC pills and luteal lupron(I think that is right). Any info from you all that have had these stims? Any suggestions that will make this cycle go smoothly or anything that you wish you would have know prior to?
We are going to start in August.

Hi lilcmhos! I just met with my RE on Friday and have a tentative schedule for around the same. I don't have any dates yet but I know I take my classes in the middle of July and start meds shortly after. I will be watching this post because I have been wondering the same thing.

I met with my RE this morning and got my official calendar. I start stimming on 7/19, egg retrieval around 7/28-8/1, and transfer the first week in August. Do know your schedule yet?

I have to get my blood work drawn on day 2,3, or 4 of my period and see what my levels are. We are starting the stims in August if all goes as planned. So it looks like we will be about a month apart , KristiBell, :(

Thanks for the tips, rbcurly. I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I am thinking of you and hope this cycle yields a full term pregnancy.

Bummer, I was really hoping for someone to be going through this with. I got super lucky and was on day 2 when we met with our RE to discuss IVF. We were able to do all of the labs and baseline ultrasound at the same time. Praying for our BFP's!
