The 2ww - wondering and googling if that twinge was a symptom, or if the spotting is a bad thing.. it's crazy hard. Just try and talk to your husband, and let him be there for you. They say to find things you like to do during the wait, but honestly, at the end of the day, you have to figure out a way to get thru it. Just know that we are here for you and sending you lots of strength and prayers!!!
I think being home for three days was a huge, huge, huge mistake for me. I literally drove myself crazy reading into every single thing that happened, like you said! I spent three days just crying and sobbing over every thing that was or wasnt happening. I have pretty much no symptoms (I'm nauseous and having sweats but that is probably more from the hormone injections). In the last few days a few positive things happened. I got to speak to my sister who got pregnant using IUI and also had no symptoms whatsoever during the 2ww. I figure if genetics mean anything, that means me being asymptomic means nothing. I also went back into my office and have been working a ton (I'm an attorney with some crazy deadlines so I'm actually super busy). I'm also planning a bachelorette for a friend next weekend so I made favors and other random things just to have something to do and decided to bake a bunch of things over the weekend just because. Being busy and trying to keep distracted is a real positive.
And the countdown is on. 48 hours until the blood test.
I just joined today. We’ve been through 3 rounds of IUI and now on our 1st round of IVF. The reason why I joined is because we had our embryo transfer yesterday and I’m looking for some support and distraction (jokes, projects, anything really :-) to pass the next 8 days.
On top of it all, my husband will be traveling for work and out of the country all next week, so I really need a group to talk to.
Thanks in advance!
I enjoy cooking but as my husband is away all next week I feel like it would be a waste of time to cook for one...We have a dog and I walk with him a lot. Maybe we should explore some new trails in the area! I’ve also made plans with friends and going to a Justin Timberlake concert. Yay! :-) Any good shows you’d recommend? Thanks a million for the support!
Dora
And I’m incredibly happy for you!!! Take good care of yourself in the upcoming months.
