So me and my husband were trying to get pregnent for 5 years and nothing so this yaer we finally deciced to go see a fertility doctor well this whole time I thought it was me. Come to find out my husband is a very rare case he has a zero sperm count and his blood levels are low. I am struggling with this news as I no he is as well. We now have to go see a uroligist to see whats going on. I hope that it can be fixed but my doctor gave us three options if he has some sperm in his testicals we can try ivf or sperm donor (husbands worried when the child finds out that hes not the dad they wont love him any more) or adoption. Has anyone had this situation with a positve out come. I worried that i may never have a child and thats all I wanted in life a family I am sure some of you can relate. I am 32 and we both werent the best kids groing up but now we have grown so much and want a child this is where my fear of adoption comes in i dont know if thell let us adopt with our past. I know i am all over the place I guess i am just looking for comfort I know my husband knows I struggling but i dont want to make him feel bad I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART.

ah hunni my situation I'm the one that cant have children naturally and my husband is fine we have gone two attempts of ivf donor and this is our third and final attempt of it and then going on to adoption I'm sure you weren't that bad when growing up anyone can adopt. in the uk its free to adopt apparently which we will be trying after our third and final attempt I have come to terms that I may not be able to have children of my own but it has been hard when I see all my friends rubbing my nose in it at the moment cause they have children and I don't well that's how I feel at times with this journey whether its you or the hubby we are all on the same journey on here and you know that you have us as a support group to talk to, if you need to, as we know what your going through hope this makes sense I aint good with my words and kind of let my tongue doing the talking without realising what I have put cool chick xx

Thank you so much for responding cool chick. I know how that feels when everybody else around you or your friends family are having children and feels like they’re rubbing your nose in it it’s really hard to be happy for them because my heart wants a child so bad that I get jealous. I know that’s not the way to Be but it’s hard or I see people that shouldn’t have children but they do it’s hard. I hope this last attempt for you works. I get So overwhelmed thinking about how much this IVF thing is going to cost because it’s our first choice and like you said it doesn’t always take the first time. I really don’t mind adopting I just want to childcare for I have a lot of love to give. I also went online and looked at adopt us kids I saw so many children on there with severe medical needs and I burst into tears because I would love to take care of them but I am not financially capable which is really sad. I am in almost the exact same situation. My husband’s first SA had < 1 million and his second had zero. We saw Urology, had hormone levels drawn showing low testosterone and elevated FSH. Chromosomal testing supported the probably dx - klinefelter’s syndrome. I was heartbroken - more so for my husband as I know how much he wants to father a child. Our next step is an appt with a specialty urologist in Boston to see if he is a candidate for TESE.

So I totally feel your pain. I am here to talk and we can go through this together! I know my husband and I are meant to be parents so now it’s just seeing how that’s going to happen.

ive come to the conclusion that if it don't work this time it wont work so we are looking into adoption for our next step after our third and final attempt of ivf donor Xx

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. It is very frustrating when you hear stories about neglected children by parents who didn't even want kids, but we are struggling. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thank you so much. I am praying for a miracle but I know I need to believe that God knows what he’s doing. It’s just hard. I thought about posting something on Facebook that if anyone becomes pregnant and they don’t want to keep the child to private message me. Would this be wired. I don’t want to sound like a creep you know. But I know there maybe teenagers or something out there that don’t want to keep ther baby.

In my situation I had some issues but we found out that my husband had a count of 0. We went to a specialist and he stopped smoking and some of the medicine he was on and also started vitamin D and now he has a pretty good count! There is hope for that situation!

Very similar situation. Husband has very low count, low motility, low testosterone and high estrogen. We also found out he has hypothyroidism. With a combo of synthroid, clomid (for him) and an estrogen inhibitor, we got the ok for ivf. We don't know yet if if worked. We got 1 embryo and were able to transfer if on 11/3. Good luck! It's scary and frustrating and heartbreaking. There are so many people on here that have gone through it. This site has definitely helped me.

I am struggling right now my ex-friend (the reason I call her that is she did me wrong.) just left her husband a month ago and went out to try and get pregnant and she is she just messaged me and asked me to be the god mother and I feel as though she’s rubbing it in because she knows my struggle. I know I am being silly but I did tell her I was happy for her but it hurts inside so bad how do you cope
