I gave it a try and didn't really like it but I do know of ladies on here that swear by it. I don't think that they necessarily only did acupuncture to get pregnant but they used it during treatments. Hey, if you like it and it relieves some stress, I say go for it :)

I did acupunture on my 2nd IVF cycle and got a BFP. Not sure if that was the leading factor in getting a positive, but I definitely felt more relaxed than our 1st try.

Thanks for posting this I'm eager to see what replies you get. My naturopath is thinking if starting me with acupuncture soon.

I've had success regulating cycles, overall better health, and less stress. I was able to find a community acupuncture place which only charges 20.00 a session. Not sure they have that option everywhere though.

I did it with no other help (re) and got pregnant. I swear it made all the difference. I did it before with drugs but had a mc at 8 weeks. I switched acupuncturists and...14 weeks today.

I did accupuncture with both cycles...IVF 1 failed and I have to admit I kinda half-assed my accupuncture routine with #1.

BFP now :) And I have been doing accupuncture consistently since October. Yes, its kinda expensive, but I do believe it helped with our success. Let me know if you have other ?s.

I had acupuncture treatments during our IVF. I don't know if that is what made the difference or not. I did several sessions during the drugs, one the day before ER and one the morning of ET. Just found out last week that even though ins didn't cover any of that, it is still considered medical and we can include it on our taxes!!

i believe it was what got me pregnant....i had been trying for 3 years and have a low egg reserve....i was going to do my first ivf cycle and a week before i was to pick up my drugs i found out i was pregnant...it was the first month i tried it....after all the years of trying and having tones of sex... that month i had sex once and didnt time it..the only thing i did different was the acupuncture???...i will never know but i believe it was what did it...

Thank you for the success stories. I went for my first session yesterday. I got a groupon:$55 for 2 sessions. It was very cool. I liked my doc, and I was in a lot of back pain yesterday. Not sure if it really helped yet, but...I woke up this morning and the pain is gone/reduced.

He said I should go at least 1 time a week, preferably 2 times a week when I am getting my shots. I am hopeful. I mean, what if the stress and pain caused problems with our first IVF attempt, and I could reduce it this go around? This gives my hope, if nothing else. I feel like I am in charge of improving things, which is awesome.
