I do understand although I'm in a different situation. My husband absolutely refuses to consider any medical help (IUI or IVF, etc). We really can't afford anything anyway. Although we've been TTC for almost two years, no tests have shown any reasons for things not to happen. Except now, its obvious that my hormones are totally screwed up. So there are things that doctors can help with that... but the sit and wait and wait and know that there isn't really anything to be done sucks!

I'm in a similar situation. Based on some tests I've had in the past and that my current cycle is normal, my gyno doesn't think I'm the issue....my husband needs to be checked. However, he won't go. I think it's a macho man thing. ;-) Even if he did get checked, we don't have the money to pay for treatments, so really what's the point! Just hoping/praying for a miracle as you are. Baby dust to us all! *hugs*

I am so sorry you are hurting. Yes, I understand how you feel and am in a similar place. My tubes were crap since my teens. I always prayed for the monthly miracle that many women get even with tubal issues. All that ended a year and a half ago with the removal of both my tubes. Now, if we are not doing IVF then I am not getting pregnant. It has take almost all this time for me to accept that fact but there are still times it is hard. I have tried to convince myself that maybe there is some way the egg could find its way to my uterus without my tubes... silly, I know but I guess that is the optimist in me.

One year ago we were starting our 5th IVF cycle. We have two frozen embryos from that cycle but I do not foresee us doing a FET any time in the near future. So basically nothing is happening, I am not getting pregnant and it is sad.

But, there is hope for us in the future with our 2 frozen embryos and there is hope for you! It is hard when not actively in a cycle because it feels like time is wasting. Try to use this time to get yourself ready for when it does happen for you, because it will. I am sending out lots of prayers and sticky baby dust for you!!

Me to honey. I'm at a complete stand still right now. My right tube is damaged from my ectopic and needs a repair. My left is open but I don't ovulate normally due to pcos. So nothing happening for me either. I need a repair and money to continue on. The funds will hopefully be coming from a lawsuit I'm waiting to settle on. Once I get the funds. I will try to see if they can repair my tube and then continue on. Until then I'm stuck. It is so frustrating and makes me angry some times.

Hello, I understand what you are going through. I went through my first cycle of IVF in December and it was cancelled due to OHSS. I am now on hold because the financial lady at my doctor office said I cannot use my frozen embryos until I pay to have them frozen in full. I can not afford to pay so I am put on hold to move forward until I pay. Its very frustrating.

Thanks ladies, Sometimes I feel like doctors have no heart!! They are like "awww" sorry no money?? see ya!! I know it's a business, but it's so hard to do nothing!! Yes, I am working on getting my body in shape and learning new things but it's so hard!!
