Hi Im new to this and I feel like the people who only understand are the people who are going through the same no one else seems to get it and I'm struggling so hard. I have been told that I am unable to conceive and IVF is the best treatment but soon as the hospital told me I it's ripped my heart out I am now suffering from depression cause of this and it's Ruining mine and my partner s relationship. We have got to pay for IVF as he has kids from a previous relationship which makes things so much harder as I'm like a mum to the kids and he's got what I want and I feel like it's my fault that I can't give him what we want a baby. Not only this it is getting to the point where I'm self harming and last night I put a knife to me throat and wanted end my life. I am seeking help I'm on tablet and seeing a psychiatrist. Please help me not only that but my partner to deal with it aswell. Thanks for reading X
I'm so sorry you're going through this. Please do not end your life because people love you. Did a fertility specialist tell you your diagnosis or was it from a doctor? Did you find out why the doctor gave you the diagnosis? Did you have tests done to show this diagnosis? There are pieces of information missing it seems. Also are you on any fertility medication? I'm taking Prozac because of infertility and it helps. Sending prayers your way.
I know how you feel, it feels WHY am I on this earth if I am unable to provide my husband with a family. I GET IT!!! I really do!!! I still struggle with coping that I may never have a child. I just turned 40 last month and we can not afford IVF. I would find a way to get the money if I was guaranteed it would work, but I can't afford $15k for nothing. Last night I cried because my husband once again thinks we can try other options, holistic options, to get pregnant. It hurts me so much inside, sometimes I can't breathe.
But please don't ever harm yourself, for any reason. Sounds you have a beautiful family who loves you and needs you! One of the many tough things about being a woman is that we have to be the strong one even in our most weak situations. Vent here !!! It will help!
It's so nice to have someone to understand and realise my pain and what I'm going through so sorry about your situation aswell it's just so expensive IVF I dont get it why can people have loads of kids and get help off the government I work and I get notthinh. Yes my family are amazing and I love them all so much X
In any event, please hang in there, don't give hope, try to count the blessings you do have, and continue to get the help you need to stay healthy mentally. You deserve a lot of credit for seeking help from a psychiatrist, so I hope you can recognize how strong you are to determine you need help and to get it. You can get through this!
