Hi girls,
I just have to vent! I am sick to death of people.
Well, I have never gotten much support from my family about my IF or even my miscarriage. No one ever askes me how I am doing and none of them even remembered my babies due date. When I tried to bring it up with my mother, she just changed the subject, not even attempted to talk about it but hey, when it comes to my sister... well what a different story!
you see, I have an older an younger sister, they are constantly in financial trouble, always creating drama. the eldest owns my parents 75k and the youngest about 65k or so. The eldest is forever fighting with her husband, using fake names, lying... you name it while the youngest also lies constantly, whines about everything and does nothing to help her self, yet they get ALL the help my mother can provide, both financial and emotional, while I get nothing but daily phone calls to 'discuss' my poor sisters' situation, but not once do I get asked, so how are you feeling to day? are you coping o.k?
I have been in therapy now for 2 months trying to get over the wreckage loosing my baby caused in my life, yet a week after having had the miscarriage (which was back in April) I was never once asked how I was coping with it.
to make matters worse, my mother in law is once again telling me about my DH's pregnant cousin and offering to pay for me to get a surrogate in INDIA! mind you I HAVE UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY and don't need a surrogate, but hey I guess it is easier to think that I have the problem rather than her angel son....
anyway I'm at the end of my tether, and I really don't think I can cope with any more. All I want is to run away to somewhere where I can feel protected... too bad such place doesn't exist

Like you, I am what I call an adult orphan child, were my mom lives constantly for my brother, and only calls when she needs to know something or has a decision to make. This is the reason why DH and I decided not to tell her about our infertility until we are done with this.
Lots of strength for you, and hoping that your counselor can help you cope. I cannot imagine what an M/C is like. Keep the faith, and grow strong. And avoid people and people's conversation that are damaging to you.
