...some days really are worse than others! I just realised that we have been married almost seven years and for the most of this time we have beeen ttc. I ccan go for mmonths and feel ok with everything,focuusing and living enjoying other parts of my life and then ....boom ....i feel the pain and anguish and frustration of the situation im in,i even find myself praying that i dont have to hear news of any pregnancys close to me (of course im always delighted for the ppl) just reminds me of my own situation........ It sounds a bit crazy but i have even considered leaving my hubby ,feeling that myb he could find someone ellse(in time) and have the family he has always wanted and. Me....well if i were single myb it wld b easier,mayb i wld b able to resign myself to the fact that im not able to have anoother child.....sorrry it just gets a little hard ....im sure u all understand ,do any of u ever feel like this? My hubbby is a great man ,we r so close he. Doesnt want to leave me n believes that one day we will have a child together x

i have mild pco , blocked tubes and some scaring in pelvis :-(

I COMPLETELY understand what you are saying. I have often thought that if I would have known that I couldn't get pregnant before we got married that I would have never gotten married, and put him and his family through the heartache of it all. The ups and downs are all part of it...I go 3 months and actually believe that I am starting to be okay with it, and then boom! The pain starts all over, I try not to show how bad it hurts in front of my dh and will usually cry in the shower or downstairs while I am doing laundry. Its such a painful rollercoaster, and I fully believe that I will punish myself for the rest of my life (i had a tubal and a cyst, bad enough they had to take my left tube and ovary, then found out my remaining tube is blocked). DH always says that he is okay with not having kids, but I still have a difficult time with it.

Thankyou for your reply,i to dont like to show me pain and tears when my woorld falls apart and try to hide it from loved ones,i know they are all there for me but what more can they say? Oh dear...realising how this sounds! Hoping for a busy and happy 2012 also wishing you the same ...

I'm sorry you are going through this. I completely understand. Overwhelming waves of grief, frustration, and hopelessness can come at you so hard sometimes.
With that said, I want to encourage you to please try to ride these emotions out. I wouldn't recommend making decisions such as leaving your hubby when you are feeling so low...even though you are thinking of his benefit. Your husband loves YOU and wants to be with YOU. You deserve happiness in your life and having IF challenges doesn't rule out all of the other wonderful and unique qualities you have to offer him. Hang in there!!

I fully understand your rollercoaster of anguish. IT breaks my heart that my husband's sister and her hubby have given his parents two beautiful grandchildren...and I haven't been able to do the same.
I have bilaterally blocked tubes that now have been cut and clamped because they were holding fluid and abdominal scarring...they have no idea what caused it.
Hang in there...We are in this together.

Doesn't sound crazy at all!!! I have really struggled with knowing that if my husband had married someone else he could have the family he wants, and out of my love for him and wanting desperately to give him that gift, I have thought the same thoughts! I think all of us go through cycles, it's part of it I guess. Just don't beat yourself up on the hard days, like when you find out that a friend is pregnant and you have to decide whether to smile and say congratulations, or hit her in the face! j/k....kinda ; ) Hang in there!
