I just want to tell you that I'm so sorry. I do have a small story of hope for you. My friend Cyndi struggled with infertility for 6 years. She exhausted all her insurance covered IVF's with no success. She was at the end of her rope. I don't know if you believe in a higher power or in God but she did, and she prayed and she is holding a beautiful baby girl in her hands today as we speak. Cyndi's cousin offered to donate her eggs. Knowing she had to pay out of pocket Cyndi went on a mission to gather donations from her loved ones who knew her struggle. Friends and family offered anything they could, from a hefty donatation from her parents to any pocket change her friends could come up with. She finally got the money to pay for her last IVF using her cousins donated eggs. 4 retrieved, 2 fertilized, 1 healthy baby. My friend was up against a brick wall, and she asked for help from anyone that could give it, and she received much more than she could have imagined. People come together in love and in hope and can make miracles happen even when nature is having a tough time making its own miracles. And at 40 years old, my friend is a happy mommy with a healthy baby girl that she dreamed of for years. Nothing is impossible.

I am 39 and have been TTC for over 12 years. I have finally decided to go with the donor eggs. Fortunately I still have a retrieval left on my insurance so they are covering those expenses. I just have to pay the donors fees and the admnistration fee.
There are so many options available. You just have to decide how important it is to you that the baby have your DNA.
You could also check into the donor embryo route. I know there tends to be a wait list for this one but then you don't have the donor fees. Don't stop looking into all your options!!!
