Just wondering if anyone has ever had or knows of anyone how has had a chemical PGs. I was wanting to know what the signs of this may be. I took a PGs test and had two lines but one was very faint but was diff there. I have no Signs of being PG and have been PG before and did have signs with that one. I have started getting pains in my lower abdominal which will last for a few mins and to get them to go away I have to lay down for a while. I also am having some back pain in the lower part. just wondering if I could be having a Chemical PGs. I will be having blood work on Monday. Any feed back would be a help. Thanks so much.

I had a chemical pregnancy last May. I started having pregnancy symptoms at 9 DPO but started spotting so I thought AF was coming. I did an HPT and, sure enough, there were two lines. The spotting stopped and the symptoms got stronger. I though all was well. I went in at 14 DPO for a pregnancy test and my hCG was 84. I started notcing the next day that the symptoms were going away. I had a second blood draw 4 days later and my hCG had dropped to 41. My symptoms going away was what kind of clued me in. Even though you had symptoms early the last time you were pregnant, doesn't mean you will this time. The pain you're having could be cramping associated with pregnancy. I usually have some mild cramping in early pregnancy. Lower back pain is also an early pregnancy symptom. It sounds like you might actually be having a couple of pregnancy symptoms and not necessarily a chemical pregnancy. Praying for good news on Monday!

It's impossible to say based on symptoms, generally. You'll have to do two blood tests to see if numbers are doubling or not. Your symptoms may also mean just early pg.

a chem preg. wouldnt cause pain, a tubal preg. would, if the pains get worse i would go to the doc's sooner, a lighter line is totally normal, so i could just be that you are preg. but if the pains get worse or are located more on one side of your body, call the doc.

I had a chemical preg in April of last year. I just 'felt different' so I did an HPT and there wasn't 2 lines until 3 minutes. So, I did another one it was the same thing. I went and got a blood test and my hcg was 16...super low, they told me to wait for 3 days and get a redraw and I got my period 3 days later. I only had breast swelling. Getting a blood test is a good idea.. good luck!

i have never had a chemical pregnancy, but the first HPT i took had a faint line. It wasn't until day 10 that the line got darker But never as dark as the first line. Keep your hopes up. Sounds like your pregnant to me. Good luck.

I had a chem pg in May. I had a lot of spotting and the day after my beta my period came. I think the only way you can know for sure is to take a blood test. I hope it's good news for you!
