Hello. My husband and I just did our 1st cycle of IVF and it failed, long story short we had started ivf in Dec 2012 but due to insurance not providing coverage for ivf and we didn't have the credit for loan, we had to put off til I changed jobs and got BCBS Dec 2013, anyway did it in Jan 2014 it failed, I turned 41 in Sept 2013. I was never the problem. My husband motility due to health issues. Anyway our first cycle we got 4 eggs tried to fertilize 2 they didn't take. We saw doctor. and are doing round 2. i changed doctors because this Dr said because i was 41 i should buy eggs or get a donor. Anyway went to different doctor but same organization.
here is my issue, we are going to prime me and challenge my ovaries with the new doctor because i was never the problem.
How do I believe it will ever happen?? I never dreamed it would fail and it did. I had the procedure FEB 10, found out the 11 it didn't take. I lost it, found myself mourning and it never was a baby to mourn.
I asked my husband if he believes it will happen, he said yes, how do i believe, i just don't think about it and i want this more than life but am scared that this isn't going to happen. I'm scared my marriage of 18 years wont survive this, i love him and I want kids. His health prevents us from adoption. Any ideas, Im willing to listen (read)
