you are in my prayers but i think you are okay dark brown spotting is common and ive see low betas here before and it turned out to be normal think positive and keep us posted

Dark brown is typically a sign of OLD BLOOD! Meaning leftover from implantaion most likely. If it's not accompanied by bright RED blood or cramping you could be just fine. I can imagine how scary it must be for you, but TRY to take a DEEP BREATHE, focus on the happy baby vibes, and try to just relax a little bit until the doc calls.

Honey try not to worry brown blood is old blood but if it will ease your mind why dont you go to the ER and they can do an Ultrasound and a beta and you will get the results then that day. God~Bless!

Hi SweetPea, I know you're scared but don't let some insensitive words that your doc said get so much to you. Spotting in pg is quite normal as is even light bleeding. Dark spotting means old blood that could have been there from implantation bleeding. I spotted during my week 6 w dark blood througout the week. I did have m/c later around week 11 but for chromosomal abnormalities. After this spotting I had 2 nice u/s with heartbeats seen in both. I have heard of many women that have spotted and even bled and had a fine pregnancy afterwards.

As for ectopic, don't worry. Even if it were you're testing early enough to catch it and I think ectopic is not that frequent.

Out of 3 possibilities your doc gave you being pg normally is most likely (statistically) so try to relax. I hope your beta comes back high. Even if it isn't that high but rising remember what someone posted here a few days back - you need a series of betas and not just 2 to see if it's rising like it should.

Hang in there! You're one of most positive people on this board and I love your always optimistic comments. I pray God gives you a happy nine months with this baby.
