Hello all,

I took my HcG shot last night. Up until now I haven't had problems with mood swings (very minor, anyway) from the meds. This morning, however, I woke up - well - just pissed off. On the way to work I started crying for no reason, other than just being exhausted. Also, I've been having a lot of trouble the past couple of nights trying to go to sleep. Has anyone else had this happen at this stage in the cycle? Thanks for listening!!

Yes I have. I think mine was a combo of the Clomid and HCG but I started crying for no reason at all. Sleeping has been difficult too.

I think that everything you are experiencing is, unfortunately, normal. I was the same way. I hope you feel better soon! Just try to remind yourself that it is the meds, not you, and try to talk yourself down. I know it's hard, but sometimes it actually works.

I'm not on the drugs yet....but I cry uncontrollably at a moments notice anymore so it doesn't even faze me.....I started crying at a commercial last night!!!! My DH is going to think I've really lost it! Just hang in there and know we are with you all the way!

Oh yeah, it's easy to cry with all we're pumping ourselves with! It's like I can cry on que sometimes. I've been having a hard time sleeping too which I'm sure for all of us is from worrying and side effects from meds we've had to take.

I'm an easy cryer too...but I've only done one cycle of Clomid and come to think of it, I was more sensitive then usual! Oh great my boyfriend is gonna LOVE all these fertility drugs I'm gonna be taking LOL!!!!

I hope you feel better soon, and I'm here for you if you need anything. Since coming to this board I've felt this is a good outlet for me to get my emotions out...so use it as such too!

I can never sleep good. Lately I have been doing good with sleep. Try eating a turkey sandwich at night for a light snack. Also try some chamomile tea and a warm bath. Try reading a really boring book before bed. I hope this helps.

I'm glad to know that I'm not just losing it for no reason. Thank you all for being there. I do have some chamomile tea at home, and will try that immediately after work. (I'm going to try to go to bed/sleep as soon after arriving home as possible.)

Oh boy, I take the HCG tonight. Is this what I have to look forward to?! I do think that it is normal though.
