First off, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to have that brief moment of happiness swept away from you so quickly because of chemical pregnancy. It is so very disappointing, especially when you have so much riding on a few frozen embryos :(
I have been through all the things you describe in your post including a surgery that removed both my tubes. I have severe endometriosis and was hospitalized twice (once landing in ICU for 2 weeks) during my fertility procedures (i.e. tube test, egg retrieval). I had my RE stand in front of me at the ICU and tell me that I will not be able to have any children and I need to consider other options. I left her and found another doctor.
Guess what? With the grace of God and some other amazing doctors, I have a healthy and beautiful 19 month of boy who is the light of my life.
It is a LONG friggen road and its a BUMPY road. But if you have that need and desire in your heart to be a mama, you gotta keep fighting. ESPECIALLY if you are young. There is no guarantee it's going to work but if it means a lot to you, you owe it to yourself to give it your all.
If this doctor isn't working for your, find another one. Do your own research, ask friends, look at ratings. You can transfer your frozen babies to any clinic you want for a couple of hundred dollars.
I know how exhausting it is, I've been going through it for years. If there is anything I can do or if you need to chat, please feel free to message me, I am happy to help. I have been in your shoes and I would have done anything for someone to give me hope.
I wish you the best of luck and God bless.
First of all I would like to thank you for all of your kind words and support. It really means a lot that you took the time to read my post and share your story with me. I am so sorry to hear all that you had to go through and that your doctor would tell you to start considering other options. It is really scary to think that if you listened to that doctor and just gave up you wouldn't have your beautiful baby boy today. I guess everything happens for a reason. And as hard as it is this will happen when it is finally meant to happen for us.
I am definitely considering my options as far as what is next for us. I plan on doing more research and determine whether we would like to try a new RE? I think looking at reviews and even trying a consultation is going to be the next step. I am not ready to give up, although some days it would be easy to.
Thank you again for all of your kind words.
