Personally, my 2nd trimester is next week and I'm not doing it because either way, chemicals are seeping into your scalp, then ultimately into your blood stream and when you breastfeed, that goes to the baby as well.
However, you're not PG yet, and when/if you DO get PG, the baby won't be attached to your bloodstream until the 5th week or so. If you're going to do it-do it now.
I'm going to buy at Whole Foods a natural hair color I think once I look at the ingredients.
Hope this helps!
I have had some clients that decide to wait and many that have had color. All has turned out just fine.
From a hairstylist's point of view, hormones can do funny things with your bodies. If you do decide to do it, be sure to mention this, as the color can take differently. (What we put into our body, show up on our hair.)
I change my color all the time. Since we started doing IVF, I have gone close to my natural color. It's my personal choice, but if I get pregnant, hopefully soon, I don't want to take ANY chances at all. I am for sure waiting until the second trimester and maybe through the whole pregnancy, we'll see.
So, ask your RE and see what they say. The rest is up to you.
