so is it normal to be on progesterone IM every other day and vaginal suppositories as well? I feel like from what I have read it's been one or the other? I'm going to ask my doctor tomorrow before the egg retrieval but I was just curious to see what everyone else did.

I am on progesterone IM every night & twice a day vaginal suppositories. Both til full 12 weeks. 22 more ouchie shots left. We graduated from our fertility clinic and doc this morning. I start at my regular O.B Monday. Saw the baby again. Strong heart beat. It was even wiggling about. Good luck. Baby dust for days!

Awe congrats!! Thank you for sharing! So I will do the progesterone shots for 12 weeks! Wow I didn't know that!

Yes I am on progesterone oil shots, vag gel, and estrace pills 3 times day.. find out monday.. hang in there. Does anyone have lumps where the oils is??

I haven't done them yet...are you "warming" the oil up? My nurses have suggested when I do them to keep them close to be so like in my bra for a few mins before or heating pad for a few mins..also make sure you aren't putting air into the syringe! I'll let you guys know how it goes!!

Yes I do have lumps. Today is day #58 so they pretty much can't be avoided. It just hurts more at injection time. I do ice the target spots often & my hubby has hot hot hands so he holds it for 15min prior to shot time. Be sure to rotate sides too.

I asked about icing it and they told me not too weird lol..do the heating pad though sit on one after wards!

I just started the shots again, I'm on day 4 and had lumps after day 1! It helps to wipe the site with alcohol after and Def. Rub the spot after to get the oil moving around. wishing there was another spot we could use to rotate more! I stand and lean over but my friend layed down to do hers. What do you all find less painful?

My first shot was today...wasn't painful to do my now my bum is burning lol! Make sure to use those heating pads! Make sure your weight is off the side you are injecting...I realized I was leaning over on that side and adjusted my weight.
