I am going crazy!!! 100% CRAZY. Since we found out I have Lupus Anticoagulant I have done a ton of research on it and have a 1000 questions for my doctor. We are doing our first IUI with meds this month. I dont even het AF until next week and cant even start the drugs until then but my mind wont stop. Based on my research i want to be on the bood thinner the whole preganacy. I also have low Progesteron and want to take that my whole preganacie. i dont know if I should do shot or Vaginal Enema.I am thinking Vaginal inama based on my research. I have been emailing my doctor she must think im a nut. She alwasy emails me back, but I really want to leave her alone till I go see her. I know she will answer all my questions. I need to stay sain for 8 more days. I need help doing it. I get home from work and am on the computer Im on the comuter right now at work. I want this so so bad it hurts and I dont want to do anything wrong or miss somthing. Does anyone else ever feel liek this. It's like its my job to make sure everything get done right and no one makes a mistake.

I do the same thing. I research everything. My RE laughed at me yesterday when I told him I was researching what my estradial level meant. I think it is a lot better to be informed then not but it can take over your life.

This so normal, I think it is because we have no control over having a baby, that we need to make sure we research and understand and be in control of the "process". But remember try not to get yourself worked up to the point that you are stressing out and like Chrissy said you can't let it take over your life. :)

First of all -- WELCOME TO OUR INSANE LITTLE CLUB! All of us IF'ers over obsess at one point or another and you are in good company honey.

Secondly - BREATHE! You now know WHAT you are dealing with, and it IS treatable. Your doctor sounds very good and you seem to trust her. As much as you can - enjoy this break before AF arrives. All the questions you have, make a list of them. Take that list to your next appointment and fire away at your doc....your paying her GOOD MONEY for that so don't feel bad. Otherwise, TRY to just have faith that you will NOW do all the right things since you have a firm diagnosis.

And if all else fails - journal all your crazy madness on this board.....we feel your pain!!!

It's ok...don't we all get a little crazy at one time or another. But patience is key right now. When I kept losing pregnancies and "trying to control" everything, my doctor told me that stress IS a contributing factor to miscarriages. Our bodies react mentally AND physcially.
More than likely, with what you have said in previous discussions, you WILL be on the blood thinner during pregnancy, probably before and after. What you could do in the meantime, is find out if your insurance will cover such a cost because depending on what state and insurance you have, it may be rather expensive. So before you get too far ahead of yourself, check into that area while you wait.
For example, when I lived in California (less than 2 years ago) and I did NOT have insurance and was on MediCal, the Heparin would have been $1,000.00 per month. Thankfully, MediCal paid for it, I was super high-risk. Now in Missouri, with insurance, the Heparin is $7.00. Go figure. I think this is something you should really try to find out.

Believe me, I am totally with you wanting to get answers and wanting to know where you stand, but since you are taking a lot of action to get answers, take it a little further in other areas. You will want to know this before you get any surprises.
