I think I am just fooling myself that my period is implantation bleeding. It is day 11 after IUI and saw red yesterday. It happened to be my husbands birthday too. This was the second try. My last period came on my birthday. I have recently concluded that only people who are going thru this can possibly understand the way that we feel because they just don't get it! I have had people ask about the process and LAUGH when I tell them! Laugh??? I am frustrated.

I'm sorry, people can really be so inconsiderate when they can not speak intelligently on the subject. Just ignore them. It's all you can do. I've never had Implantation bleeding with either of my pregnancies but I understand that if you do it's like spotting. But everyone is different. Stay positive. Good luck!

You know, I think it's ok for me to joke about the "turkey baster" method but it was my sister in law who has 3 kids who laughed when I had to explain how hub gives the sperm. I am very defensive of him so it angered me. Thanks for your notes, zozo and GMLAH. I truly wish you success in this endeavor that has brought us together.

I understand the laughing thing...I know it doesn't help, but from a psychological./counseling perspective...when people are uncomfortable they laugh...more people need to learn to control this..and I just want to smack them when they don't..but you would be shocked how many of my client laugh about inappropriate things...especially the imature ones.

Lioness: thanks so much for the love! So far, just some blood. I am hoping hard that the whole flow doesn't show. I haven't even had my endometrial biopsy yet (scheduled Mon) so it seems kind of early for AF but it feels like she's almost here.

Sweetie hopfully you will laugh at her with you get your bfp. If I was you I wouldn't even explain anyone what I am going through.
