I'm doing a cycle of Femara this time. I took 5 mg daily on CD3-7. I always (before miscarriage anyway) ovulate on CD17 - even when I did the Clomid cycles.
My question is, has anyone had earlier ovulation with Femara? My Dr said it could cause me to ovulate earlier than normal. We don't think I've ovulated since the miscarriage, so I'm really just hoping it makes me ovulate. But I also am worried about ovulating too early.
I'm currently on CD9 and started getting a second line on OPK's yesterday. It was a bit darker today. Not darker than the test line, but darker than yesterday. And I can feel my left ovary - like it feels right before I ovulate on that side. So I'm starting to think I'm going to ovulate soon...but I'm worried it's too early.
Anyone have any thoughts or experiences?

I think if you are on drugs to mature your eggs, then you shouldn't be "too early" but that's hard to tell unless the Doc is doing u/s to measure the follies. It is possible to ovulate earlier than normal, as the meds can help them mature faster than normal, hence needing to ovulate before "normal". If your doing TI, then trust the opk and just know that as long as everything worked like it should, ovulating before your normal time should be just fine!

I ovulated CD 11 and 12 when I was on Femara. I usually ovulate around cd 13-15 so 11 was not that different but it was earlier. I wouldn't worry unless your lining is thin.

Thanks ladies - that makes me feel much calmer. I usually use the strips with 2 lines kind of tests, but the whole comparing the lines degrees of darkness was driving me mad. I bought some digital ones yesterday and am liking the smiley face idea a whole lot better - no comparing stress.
Pre-miscarriage, I ovulated CD17 like clockwork. So this whole ovulating earlier thing is kinda freaking me out. But like you said, if the meds are maturing them faster then it's not going to be a problem of immature/under-developed eggs.

I ovulated a little earlier with fermara as well.
