There are couples that let their relatioship fall apart because they have difficulties conceiving, but you don't have to be one of these couples. It is all under your control. If you are constantly on this site, and constantly thinking about getting pregnant, he senses that in your behavior. He knows that you are not happy with the way things are, and thinks it's his fault. I understand how you feel and what you are going though. Of course you want a child, of course you are going to obsess about it. I went thought that too. It is something that's obviously going to be on the back of my mind all the time. However, I find ways to distract myself but focusing my energy on working on my nursing career, on having a great time with my husband, and simply being at ease. My husband is aware that at some point next year we are going to start IUI.He knows that he has a lower sperm count than optimum, etc. But we don't focus on it. It is really no big deal, he knows we are going to get though this, find a solution, and we will have a child one day. We will be fine. We have that faith because being together is what really matters.
thanks for your advice. I am not really on this particular support group that much.I am actually in my other support group the majority of the time, because I have accepted the fact that whatever happens, happens as far as kids are concerned.
I have just got my new doctor to prescribe Clomid after 13 years of infertility. We are not going to a specialist until it is absolutely necessary. Hopefully, we will find something out within the next few weeks about his ablility to have kids with a simple lab test. We are really just getting started on the Dr. related help. My OB asked if I prefer to just have her help first or if I wanted to go to a specialist. We don't really have the money to be starting out with a specialist.
I think my husbands issue was that he felt I was not coming to him about my problems. At least that's what I am getting from it. I have talked to him about everything I talk about on here, but when he is away at work it is nice to have others to talk to because I can't be calling him every time I am feeling down.
