I still can't believe that it's true that my DH and I have been TTC for over three years and that we've lost two sweet babies to miscarriage. (We are now under the care of a great RE, but we still struggle to have success in achieving a healthy pregnancy.) This is the hardest experience I've had in life so far, and I have felt so very alone. At 33 years old, every non-single friend I have is a mom or is pregnant, and I'm not kidding that 98% of my wonderful friends have been lucky to conceive either by accident or within three months, often on their first try. How ironic that I seem to know the most fertile people on the planet!
Anyway, I have found this site to be incredibly helpful in my journey, and I want to thank you for making me feel like there are others out there who understand this deep pain and longing. Although I wish none of us were in this situation, you have put some of my emotions into words when I struggled to articulate or even fully wrap my arms around a concept. Sometimes I think I'm crazy with the way I analyze every symptom or become devastated when I find out a dear friend or a random acquaintance is pregnant. This has been an incredibly difficult journey for me, and it's made more unbearable when it seems to be so easy for so many.
I have cried more in the past three years than I have in the rest of my life combined, and I have been to dark places that I didn't know I was capable of going. I aim to stay positive and to find fulfillment in my life while waiting for our miracle, but some days are harder than others, and the cycle of hope and disappointment and (potential) loss is maddening. It breaks my heart that pregnancy is ruined for my DH and me. We will never have the ignorant bliss of assuming all will be fine or taking for granted that we will always see a heartbeat or that a due date means a baby will arrive.
Yesterday was a hard day, and the community of this site helped me to get my feet on the ground and have a brighter day today. I am so grateful. Baby dust to each of you!

Sorry for all you have been through. My husband and I have been through a lot also. We had been through IVF, a miscarriage in '09 and a IUI. We finally had our son in 2010 after 10+ yrs of trying. Stay positive and keep your head up. Good luck in this journey. Message me anytime if you would like to talk. *hugs*

I'm so sorry to hear that you have been through so much also (wow, 10 years just breaks my heart), but I'm so happy to hear that you had a son in '10. I'm sure he's the sweetest thing in the world! Thanks for reaching out and for your kind words. Hugs right back at you!

I can very much understand... There are some very dark days in infertility... There were times I didn't know if I could ever get away from the sadness, especially on those hard days. Like you, I was the only one without children. I went through 2 IUI, 2 IVF cycles, 2 fresh transfers, 2 chemical pregnancies, and 2 FET, the last FET we finally got pregnant with my son. This site was very helpful- the people on here understood me. It took me 3 years to get my little boy and I appreciate him so much. Keep on going- there are good days and bad but you've got to keep moving along your journey. It'll be worth it- I promise! I don't know if this makes you feel better, but my RE nurse told me some words that I'll never forget- she had gone through IVF multiple times... You are working very hard for your children- you are already a damn good mother for doing so and you'll treasure your baby more than those who don't understand this journey... Best of luck to you!!!! HUG!!
