I am very new to the group but figured this would be more helpful than silently crying into my pillow trying not to wake my boyfriend up. Just took a pregnancy test and once again not pregnant. We tried for a year and after that my doctor did an exploratory surgery where she found out I have PCOS and endometriosis. I am on my second round of Clomid with no luck, and I know so many people have went through so much more but where I'm 27 everyone pretty much acted like after my surgery and taking this miracle drug I wouldn' have any problem getting pregnant. That just hasn' been the case for me, I have ovulated and have good follicles it just seems like it won't take. Has anyone had the dr tell you everything looks good they just don' know why it isn't working?

Im so sorry to hear this. I feel your pain... we have unexplained infertility and they cannot give us an answer as to why it is not working. We are moving on to IUI #6. Our last chance with IUI and then we have no choice but to move to IVF and take some time off to save. I feel like when you are told there is no reason for why its not working, its frustrating as there is "no FIX". Stay strong, keep fighting and pushing and if you can see if there is anymore additional testing and fight for it. We might go get a second opinion while we save for IVF. As hard as this journey is.. I dont want to give up... I want my miracle bundle of joy. I wish you all the luck in the world and baby dust. Hugs

Hi. You’re not alone. Ive also cried myself to sleep in the pillow so hubs doesnt hear. And man can the sleep thru anything! We’be been trying for 6 years. Im 39 now. 2 failed IVFs with poor embryos. Switched docs. Now on my 6th IUI. Not giving up. My friend had like 15 IUIs before it worked. Cheaper than IVF. Less drugs too. We have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. The embryologist basically said I’m old. But how can I have been old 6/5/4 years ago? Also we had a sperm issue. My husband had low sperm count due to a varicocele he finally had repaired a year and a half ago and now he makes good sperm! So make sure your bf has no issues with his sperm. Best of luck!!!!!

Yes. I was also in my 20's and healthy. All my tests came back good. Same with my husband. They did surgery and removed endometriosis and told me to try on my own. Didn't work. I took clomid etc, didn't work. I did 4 IUIs. Still no. I finally did IVF and had a healthy daughter. We were told we had unexplained infertility and yet nothing was helping. It's just a not fair and frustrating process... but we got there eventually. Don't give up.

Ask you Dr about possible doing iui. That's what helped me. Just a thought and don't give up hope it's hard but your not alone in your struggles. I am 41 and pregnant for the first time.

You're definitely not alone. I just finished another round of Femara and had 3 decent follicles...but still no luck. It's definitely discouraging; especially around the holidays. I was hoping to surprise my husband with a BFP.

After every cycle, i cry trying not to wake my husband up! We have unexplained infertility as well. Even the doctor keeps saying “you’re young and healthy, try not to get too worked up”. We’ve been trying for 18+ months and two IUIs have failed. I am Trying to keep positive. So....know that you’re not alone. And try to keep positive too. It has to happen at some point for all of us. It just does!
