Today my estrodial is 738, and there are 4 follicles at or a little over 13mm. There are a few more that are at 9 and 10. The retrieval is scheduled for Tuesday. Do you think I will have more that are mature by then? Where were some of you at this stage? I have another bloot test and ultrasound tomorrow morning, so hopefully they will have some better news for me. I hope we don't have to put this off.

Your estrodol is great...right where you should be. If RE doesn't like your size of follicles, he'll up your meds I bet. You still have 4 days to go yet. My gut is that he'll adjust your meds. Think positive...Keep me posted. Good luck hunny.

oh, one more thing (I just went through this on Tues)...My follicles weren't "ready" yet, so my RE did the ER the next day. Yours can do that, too. There's nothing set in stone that you have to have it done on Tues. If your follicles aren't ready, there's always the next day. I have been behind the other ladies at my RE 2 times now. My RE just scheduled me for when I was ready. I go for my ET on SUNDAY!!!! Im so exicted!

your numbers are good. I had a bunch of follicles that were size 10-13 five days before my transfer. And my RE had reduced my meds 24 hrs previously, because my Estrodial had jumped from 350 to 1200 within one day. By the time of your retrieval most should be in the 18 range ... or else you can wait another day, as was said. Also, the RE ended up retrieving more eggs than he counted on the ultrasound. So sometimes their estimates are conservative.

I have done three ER's and all three were pushed back a day. The ones that are at 10 may just be ready by Tuesday I did have a couple always mature at the last minute. Do you have one more u/s? You will know then, Good luck!

When my follies were maturing they wanted them to be more matured - around 20 mm- atleast that what my re said.

Thank you all for your input. I went to the RE again on Saturday, and my estrodial was at 1,015. I do have one more blood test and ultrasound this morning - which I am not looking forward to - I feel like my ovaries are about to explode! ha! I am anxious to hear where things stand though. I'm really nervous about the ER - this is my firt one.

Again, I just want to say how much it means to have you all here to talk to. This is a very special group of people, and I adore and appreciate you all!

I know it is normal to be nervous about ER. Trust me it is a piece of cake. The worst part for me was gwtting the IV in (I have bad veins)
Also bot times I did ER I always had more eggs than they counted.

i had only one egg and it was a 17 and then they had me do ovidrel. they say each day can help. i am sure they will tell you if they think its not time yet. Good luck!!!

Hello everyone, just a quick update...

Today I had two follicles on each side that were at 2cm, and a few more on each side that are getting close. They haven't called back yet with my blood results, but I think they will plan the ER for probably Wednesday. I'm excited and nervous.

What should I expect from ER?
