I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I know that progesterone can definitely cause nausea, not sure about the dizziness but the progesterone could be the culprit. I hope you feel better! Good luck this month with BFP!!!!

I've had dizzy spells after my 2nd IUI when I had injectables (Gonal F).

I think the progesterone can cause dizziness. I don't have it every month but it happens fairly often. I'm only 6 DPO and starting getting extremely dizzy 2 days ago. It's to the point that when I stand up too quickly, everything starts to go dark and I almost faint but I manage to stay up. The Prometrium seems to be affecting me really strongly this cycle.

Progesterone IM Side Effects
Pain/swelling at injection site, breast tenderness, headache, weight gain/loss, acne, nausea, increased body/facial hair, loss of scalp hair, drowsiness, or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: unusual vaginal bleeding/discharge (e.g., breakthrough bleeding, spotting), stopped menstrual periods (amenorrhea), breast lumps, swelling of the ankles/feet, mental/mood changes (e.g., depression, nervousness), dark patches on the skin/face, frequent/painful urination, dark urine, yellowing eyes/skin, stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting.

This drug may rarely cause blood clots. Seek immediate medical attention if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur: chest/jaw/left arm pain, weakness on one side of the body, slurred speech, vision changes (e.g., blurred/double vision, loss of vision), confusion, pain/redness/swelling of arms or legs, trouble breathing, sudden severe headache, fainting.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

Girl, I was dizzy a lot in the 2WW. Sometimes it was so bad, I just had to lay my head down to get it too stop. It could be the progesterone as it does crazy things to your body. Hoping you get a sticky BFP!!

I tend to get very dizzy too when in cycle. I have vertigo a lot due to my Lyme Disease but have found one of the meds (not sure if estrace or progesterone) make me very dizzy. Also of note, after my first cycle I had blood drawn because I was experiencing diabetic symptoms. I am usually hypoglycemic but the test came back that I was border line diabetic. My doctor said it could of been from the hormones and that we would keep an eye on it. I've had days when I literally walked in a store and opened a container of orange juice and a candy bar and ate it before I even paid for it because I was about to pass out.

Try to keep OJ around and drink it if you feel that way, it could help.

I am 1 day past FET and feeling dizzy at night.
Take 1 100mg Endometrin (progestrine)in the am and 1 in the pm. 2 ww begins for me.
Same as Cheryl - Gonal-F was the dizzy machine for me during IVF.
Good luck, drink ALOT. not good to dehydrate.

My dr has me do my injectable progesterone at night and the vaginal in the morning. If you're going to be that sensitive to it maybe you could ask to do the same so that the worst period of side effects is while you're sleeping.
