I am using my first box of kits, and should be ovulating tomorrow, I have used 3 so far and they aren't working. No lines at all. Anyone else have this problem?

What kind are you using? There should always be a control line.

I got the cheap ones! Equate brand. When I opened them there was no lines, and after I used them still no lines.....

Hmm... I thought once you tested them there was always at least one line. Maybe your box is a dud? I use the Clear Blue Easy ovulation tests. They are much easier & I get them on eBay to save $

I've used the Equate brand, the Target brand and the clear blue easy brand and with all of them its a hit or miss for me. If your urine is too watered down then there likely won't be a line and if your hormone levels are too low it won't detect anything.
I hate OPK's they just frustrate me, but thats partly because I don't ovulate, so they're useless for me :/

I had a very hard time with those myself. I was told to use them in the mornings when your system isn't watered down. It gives a more honest reading. I finally just bit the bullet and spent the money on the clear blue brand fertility monitor. I purchased it brand new on ebay. It gave me the best response. Plus is was easy to understand.

I have used 6 so far, and I have yet to see a line, I'll try clear blue easy next!!

I used them when we were trying w our pregnancy and they worked perfectly. Now trying for number 2 I can't get a second line ... My dr said you can't depend on them. They were stressing me out so I just stopped using them. I hear taking your temp and monitoring cervical mucus are good ways to predict when you will ovulate. Best of luck

I ended up not using OPKs after a while b'c 1) they were frustrating and 2) I would get surges at all different times of the month, but way too soon to actually release an egg. My OBGYN told me to stop using them all together and just have timed sex. Obviously that didnt work either, but I never went back to OPKs because they just didn't react well to my body.

also, what CD are you? you may ovulate later than you think! don't stop using them unless your doctor recommends that you do!!

I bought another brand and although they don't show that Im ovulating, they do show a line saying Im not, so I guess they are working, I used them for about 2 weeks, and either they just don't work for me or something else is up. They are really frustrating!
