Hi! I am 23 years old. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 2 years now with no sucess. They have been a few cycles when we believe the egg was fertilizied but did not implant! :( Recently, I went to a new obgyn doctor. She put me on Clomid 50 mg and Estradiol 2 mg without running any tests or blood work on me. Because of this I developed an ovarian cysts that filled my whole pelvic area. This dr was unwilling to do anything but give me pain pills. After three weeks of suffering, and unable to work, I got a second opinion. This doctor said I need surgery as soon as possible. I had surgery on June 29th. As it turns out I have four ovarian cysts and stage 3 endotremesis. They were able to remove the cysts and leave all of my ovaries. But my whole pelvic area was glued together. I don't know what this means for our chance of a baby. I have to take birth control for three months then they are sending me to a fertility specialist. I don't know that I will keep that appointment. I feel like this is a hopeless cause and I want to give up. My husband is willing to accept whatever decision I make but he really doesn't want me to give up. How do you all cope with this? How do you manage to continue to try every month? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Hopeful mom to be
