This post is not all that positive and I apologize for that. I am just in need of some buddies who have also been through this.... I am on Gonal F shots, and have taken them for 8 nights now. I am feeling like total crap- headchaes, tired, now stomach issues... ughh... last month was my first month, I was only on it for 6 days and I triggered. Everything went so quick. Now I am responding, just not as fast. Yesterday was CD 10 and I have 6 follies- still small. A 14,12,11,10,10,and a 9. My estriodol level was at 377. I have to go back tomorrow for another U/S and B/w. The worst part is if I continue to move slowly we may not even be able to do an IUI this cycle because I have to be out of town from 6am-6:30pm on Friday. I am taking my students on a field trip to our state capitol. I am just feeling down and am sick of not being myslef. Anyone else out there have these crappy side effects right now?!?!?!?

I do not have themn from fertility meds right now, but have had them before. I hope you move along a little more quickly so you are able to do IUI this week and get off the meds.

I am also doing Gonal F and feel like crap also. I was so wozzy on Saturday that I threw up from the meds. I talked to my doctor and she gave me anti-nausea pills. Going to try them tonight. Maybe you can ask. Best to you

My first IVF cycle I did Follistim and did not respond well and almost had to cancel the cycle. I am doing another fresh cycle and have done Gonal-F and Bravelle. I have had to do 675 iu's per day and it has kicked my ass. I have been a train wreck. Horrible headaches, constipated, incredible emotional and just a nut case. I hope they increase your dose and get you to the finish line.

I am taking follistim and don't feel awful - very bloated and emotional (cried watching CSI today - a first for me). Can you find another teacher to take your place on the trip? Owe them a huge favor? There has to be some way to make it work...that is your job, this is your life, ya know? Thinking of you.

Hi Kim-
Sorry to hear you are feeling so crappy. IS there something you like to do that might take your mind off things? Reading a book, relax at your pool/deck/lake, or hanging out w/ friends or family. In regard to the school thing, I agree w/Lara M. Is there a way you can have someone else take your place for the field trip? I am also teacher and I know sometimes it is hard to separate your life from school life. Take some time for yourself. Hang in there...

my follies were slow growing too. i am on follistim, but i had to be on it for 10 days...i trigger tomorrow. i too had 6 follies, but only 3 and a half continued to grow. the half is still lagging behind, but "could catch up" i've been having stomache issues and headaches too, but i don't know if it is the medication or stress from work. i hop you're feeling better soon.

I'm growing slowly too. Yesterday was day 11 on Follistim and my largest one was at 12, and the rest were under 10. My stomach looks like a dartboard.
