Hi ladies

Well yesterday I was talking to my BIL...

I work at the state emergency services with him when Uni is on break to get a bit of extra cash and finance all this nightmare treatments we have to go thorugh. Yesterday he asked me if I wanted to come back a little earlier than I was planning as they really needed me. I told him that while I would be happy to go back, would there be any chances of them rostering me around the girl who was pregnant at the same time as me as it would be really hard to see her after having lost my little one. He told me that that would have been almost imposible, but this girl would be taking her maternity leave in a month so I could go back after that if I wanted to... Great I think to my self until he tells me...

Yep there is another girl pregnant! I was her supervisor, but when I left they moved her up to my old position and I would have to work with her... so I will have to be basically spending 12hrs at a time with her on some of my shifts.

I just don't know if I will cope, I have a FET at the end of this month (I will go back to work at the end of July) and If I don't get pregnant then what do I do? how will I cope?

I know this sounds selfish and I really need the money to help out with all the treatments, but how can I work next to someone who is complaining about morning sickness, that rubs her belly, that everyone goes gooo goo ga ga over, while they look at me in pity?

I don't know what to do!

Focus, focus, focus.
That's how you're going to cope, and after you get your FET and BFP you'll look back in wonderment and amazement at your strength through all of this.

Think about their babies, they are nothing of the little one you lost, and they are nothing of the little one you will soon bring home.
I know how painful loss is, but you have to put it into perspective.

Heck, if you make an effort with them both, think about all the cash you'll save by getting hand me downs from their kids.

If you really can't handle it, then that's fair enough. But I think you can if you put your mind to it and give yourself an hour each night to unwind after work.

Girl, I am right there with you! While waiting to start my IVF ttreatments one of my co-workers turned up preg. (by her ex-husband). I didn't think much about it at the time, but after I started IVF everyone started making comments about how they were gonna have to work with 2 hormonal preg. women at the same time. Well on June 1st. I got a BPN after my first round of IVF. Now, like you said, everyone is constantly asking her when she is due, is it a boy or girl, etc. I get sooo disgusted. I've been TTC for 3+ years and she slips and gets preg. Some days I just wanna scream! For people who don't have to deal with fertility issues have no idea what we have to go thru and then for it not end with bringing a baby home is devastating!

After my second miscarriage, I found out that one of my coworkers was pregnant, and had gotten pregnant at the exact time I had, but for some reason she got to keep her baby and I lost mine, Our due dates were only 10 days apart. So it was really hard at first, because it was like watching a ghost of my own pregnancy.

But it did get easier after a while. And then she went out on maternity leave for 3 months and I didn't have to think about her! That was the easiest.

Lina2008 I'm right there with you. When I told one of my co-workers I was trying fertility treatments, she was sooo supportive that we became really good friends (this was a new job for me). Then 2 months after (right during my first IUI) she came to tell me she was 6 weeks pregnant. I was excited for her but couldn't stop feeling sad and anxious. Then my first IUI failed, then the 2nd, then the 3rd...months passed and her belly kept growing beautifully thank God and I was empty...Then another one of our friends broke her silence and confessed to us that she was starting IVF after 4 failed IUIs (this was around April of this year). it happens to be that we both have the same doctor under the same clinic and funny enough we've never seen each other there...well she got blessed and her first IVF try was successful. She came rushing into my office right after she got her called from the clinic with her BFP...in the meantime our other friend went into labor and it's now a proud mama of a beautiful baby girl.
Long story short, I get you!! I get what you're going through! hang in there!! i'm right here with you!!
