I'm sorry you have this going on... What did your tests show that makes you feel this? I'm doing the same trying to eat healthy and take supplements and hopefully be in a better spot. My main fear is my egg quality is off since I have unexplained infertility. I hope you get some answers...truly just so confusing with all this information, and sometimes not enough information.
And honestly you could vent to me all day about insurance. It makes me so mad. I feel like it just plays such a huge part in the stress... just ugh. I've literally contacted my insurance four times asking them if they're sure IVF wouldnt be covered lol...still no.
Anyway, just know you're not alone. Deep breath and keep fighting for what you deserve :)
Though at that point we hadn't had proper testing yet and we didn't know why it wasn't happening for us. I'm on some points a known factor but was told even with the hurtles I should have at least gotten pregnant at least once which I have not. It's the opposite of reassuring to be told they don't know why. Heck, when I was told that I felt like they just jettisoned me right back into the three year limbo I had been in.
While I take a lot of joy in the multiple children around me I've found myself becoming occasionally resentful when the mothers of said children complain, especially with a certain parent I know who borderline neglects their children (constantly pushing them on grandparents, aunts, uncles, whoever) and I've had to stop myself from going off a few times.
After doing a lot of soul-searching (as well as a bunch of research) I've come to realize feeling this way is completely and utterly normal. You're allowed to have those emotions and if you're feeling stressed don't feel shy about withdrawing and finding a proper vent. And by all means don't be afraid to simply turn down a baby shower invitation and just send a gift. You have to take care of you first and that most definitely includes your emotional health.
As for the insurance I'm pretty sure I've gone on ten point rants about it on multiple occasions myself. We're lucky that we're covered for most of our current treatment and it's only in the triple digits per try rather than the quadruple like some friends of mine I know. After I finish fertility treatments and regain some emotional stamina I'm probably going to look into ways to advocate fertility be covered in insurance.
If IVF becomes the only way there are multiple grants and scholarships you can apply for and there's financing options available so don't give up hope. You can do this thing and you have a bunch of people in your box cheering for you!
