My 6 plus year journey of trying to get pregnant finally has some hope. After 4 IUI's, 2 egg donors, 15 separate eggs, only 3 embryos made the cut. During IVF #3 we transferred our last & only remaining frozen embryo. With my first 2 embryo transfers (single) both times not even a 1 was detected on my hCG blood draws. This time my 1st draw was 161 & the 2nd 418. The amazing phone call from my nurse saying "you're pregnant " had me & my husband both in tears & to our knees. It's a long road ahead & the wait til our ultrasound seems like forever. I truly believe my prayers, faith, yoga, accupuncture, doubling up on my progesterone (p.i.o. shots & vaginal suppositories) & the "scratching"procedure I had done 1 month prior to transfer really helped. Trying to stay positive, taking care of myself & playing the waiting game as I continue with the painful shots my hubby gives me ever night is all worth it.
