My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost 2 years now. I was on clomid for 2 rounds and got pregnant and then miscarried in Aug. at 11 weeks. Started clomid again and the first round didn't do anything. I was on 2 pills a day and my prog. levels were like 0.8. So they upped me to 3 pills a day last cycle. Prog. went up to 15.37 but still no bfp. So I am going to dr tomorrow to get checked for cysts and get a clomid refill. I just wondered what the next step would be. I don't really know what to ask the dr besides that. He is probably going to say well it has just been 2 cycles but it is very discouraging. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well clomid is first then I think they start injections. good luck.

Hey lindseylu... it has been a while! Are you going to your regular OB/GYN or did you see an RE yet? The girls here encouraged me to go see an RE because there was nothing to lose and boy am I glad we went. We found out we had other issues than we initially thought from testing from our OB/GYN. So, maybe you could start there if you already have not. Otherwise... I know several people that took many rounds of Chlomid to get pregnant. So, hang in there and good luck.

I have an appointment tomorrow with my regular ob but I will be sure to ask him about an re too.

I didn't have any luck with clomid, but know lot's of folks who have.

I'm still learning abb. too. There is post with a lot on there. Search for it its very helpful. RE is a reproductive endocrinologist and bfp is big fat positive(preg test). Ask anything else you might wonder and I will be glad to try and help.

I agree, I wish I would have seen a RE sooner than we did. We were TTC for 3 years before we met our RE (now have been there over a year). Then be sure they do all the tests that they can think of to get to the root of the problem (if there are any). Good luck!
