I am 29 years old (3 months to 30). My husband and I have been TTC for 3 years in April. 7 failed IUI's and just completed IVF, I have a pregnancy test Wednesday (everyone cross your fingers!). So we are in very similar spots. I take comfort in thinking I am the one in a rush and my life is exactly where it should be. Never feel like less of a beautiful woman! Infertility takes so much from us and puts such a strain on our relationships but we just have to try and remember that we are exactly where we are intended to be. I believe something will work out for you and it will make you realize why you had to wait or why it didn't go exactly your way. Maybe you are meant to have twins and it must be achieved through fertility treatments! Try not to be in a rush and live in the now. There is nothing else we can do but keep pushing forward and trying everything we can to get a miracle baby! I hope you find a way to be happy and feel beautiful, even if its just by knowing you are not alone <3
I'm so sorry that you are going through this, and that it is hurting you so much. There's no surefire way to feel better. Being on this forum, I think, is a good place to find support. It has also helped me to read articles about infertility/IVF. Like, I came across one article that talked about the discovery that many women who have infertility get PTSD. I read that mentally, it is akin to a diagnosis of cancer. You might not be facing your death, but you are having to face, and fear, the death of the life you always wanted. I know all that sounds glum, but it was helpful for me to know. I wished that my friends and family read the same articles, so they knew what I was going through and had more sympathy.
I hope you are doing ok. You've come to the right place to share your feelings, no matter what they are.
