Hello, my name is Amanda.
I'm new to this community. Looking for support and discussion with other women who understand what I go through.
A little about me; I was officially diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 23, but I knew long before then that something was not right. (Extremely irregular cycles without medication.) My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years, and have never used any kind of contraceptives. I have even tried progesterone to cause a cycle, amd even did 4 rounds of Clomid. I have never seen a positive result on an ovulation test. I have never conceived, either.
At this point, I am not even sure if I CAN conceive let alone carry a baby, though I very much want to have a baby. It all gets very discouraging thinking of trying repetedly with different methods and getting no results.
Right now, my new gyno has me on a BC just to attempt to regulate cycles for now. Then later, we are going to look into further options for helping me to conceive.
What are your stories, methods, meds, results? Looking for support and advice!

How old are you now? Have you gone to a fertility specialist? I’m 41 and have been TTC for 11 months with no luck yet. I’ve done 3 IUIs and one IVF cycle. I’m learning a lot about age, ovarian reserve deficiency, and diet to improve egg quality. “It Starts with the Egg” is an excellent book if you need to work on egg quality. I don’t know anything about PCOS. Keep us updated and best wishes to you! Julie
