Hello all,
This is definitely new for me. My husband and I have not been able to conceive for a while now. I feel like I'm stuck in limbo because I keep getting told everything looks pretty good. I have PCOS and have one blocked tube (right side). We have been going through the fertility doctor for a while now with no luck. I just don't feel like it ever going to happen. I remember thinking when I was little that something was wrong and I couldn't have kids...and sadly I guess that feeling was right all along. I feel like I'm just wasting money at this point. I am currently in the middle of a cycle using Letrazal (Clomid made too many follicles). I took the Ovadril shot this last Saturday. I only have one follicle this cycle, but it is on my right side (the blocked side). They told me to proceed though because it some instances the follicle gets picked up by the other ovary and ovulates on that side resulting in pregnancy. My luck isn't good at all and I'm dreading the bloodwork and the phone call of I'm sorry it came back negative again.
I feel absolutely miserable and hopeless.
My husband suggested going to a therapist or support group, but I don't feel comfortable doing so. I struggle with this constantly. I have days where I feel positive and I have days where I wish my heart stopped beating already. I don't know how to be okay with this.
I have been a guardian to a little boy since he was an infant (first marriage, the biological parents aren't around anymore but don't want to sign their rights away). They were both very neglectful as parents. I feel like all I see are people having no problem whatsoever getting pregnant, whether on purpose or accident. And I've here getting test after test, bloodwork after bloodwork, and bill after bill with nothing but additional misery to show.
I feel so sad today.
Nothing yet. We are still within the cycle, so I won't officially find out if it worked for two more weeks.
The struggle is real. I had anxiety in the beginning when I started my hormone jabs and it was madness. Was crying constantly and just needed to grab any form of help that I can find including stopping the process. I started my first ivf and just got the embryo transfer done on Friday with a 2 day embryo.
I had 7 eggs retrieved out of which only 1 got fertilized. Praying that the embryo continue to grow strong and healthy and just to keep an overal positive vibe and trust that God is there to help and support.

You hear about infertility growing up...and you have your worries. But having to draw that card in life is just miserable. I'm 26...everyone in our friend group is having kid after kid, and I'm over here hating myself. Ultrasound after ultrasound. Blood draw after blood draw. Shot after shot. Book after book, research, doctors, procedures, and of course, the phone call from the fertility clinic, I'm sorry, it was negative.
I feel hopeless most days, I wish I shared your lady's positivity. Some days I do but it seems like as time passes more days are bad, and I have to figure out how to be okay with it possibly never happening for us.
