Wow-- I have been dealing with it so long i forgot that not everyone knows about it. SO i will give you the short version of it.
I have a brian tumor on my pititary gland. I have had it for years and until about 5 montsh ago have had no problems. So teh doctors saud dont worrya bout it just monitor it blah blah blah. Well i went in for a rutine MRi and it showed that it grew. SO much in fact that my Neroligist refered me to a nerosurgeon and told me he couldnt see me anymore the surgeon had to be my new doctor. Well we see him and he said it has to come out no if and or buts. They have to drill into my skull!!! He said we could wait for this MRI but it would have to come out sooner or later, later being 2 years sooner being like in a month from now.
Well my symptoms are so bad now that i forgot my address the other day. Completly blanked and had to look at my lisence. Its happened with a few other things and i wouldnt worry about those so much but my address totally freaked me out and also i dont sleep. And the tumor effects that. Even with a slepping pill the doctor gave me io still dont. So i have teh MRI done monday and see the doctor the week after that on the 22. To say im scred would be a understatement but i have to do what i have to do. I dont want the surgery but there is a very very slight chance it could be the reason im having trouble getting pregnant. Because of the hormones the pituitary gland produces. So thats the story. The 22 will be the day. Its strange to be counting days that have nothing to do with my cycle.

My brother also has a tumor on his pituitary gland, and he's gotten the "just watch it" speech. He's 30, and so far it hasn't grown. We feel blessed.
