My story :) will it have a happy ending?

Hello. I am a 32 year old married woman who found out both of my tubes were blocked at the distal ends. The reason for no pregnancies for over 15 years. All other aspects of the baby making ingredients are good. Hormones looked good. Sperm look strong. No fibroids. Nothing else to be worried about. Except for the IVF process. 


Under the recommendation of my fertility doctor, I had my tubes tied and will be starting my medications sometime next week. Hopefully all goes well. I could tell the nerves are starting, at the last appointment to pay the bill I was shaking. Anyone else felt nervous at that appointment?


I suppose I will have to post again in regards to what happens during the cycle, during retrieval and after implantation.

Yes! Handing over great sums of money like I spent on IVF always made me anxious bc I was always wondering if I was just wasting it. I was lucky and my story did have a happy ending- twins- but not without many nervous appointments, thousands of dollars, and tons of tears. You are definitely not alone in what you are feeling and you came to the right place for support. Good luck!

Yes absolutely. It is a huge emotional and financial investment. But I have a daughter from my first IVF and I am hoping for a son from the IVF I am doing right now. Totally worth it!! Good luck!

The ways my nerves were at that appointment I can only imagine how it will go at the future ones. Especially when I start the medications. That is soon. I will be sure to share. The children we do manage to have are very lucky knowing they have parents who fight tooth and nail to bring then into world.
