Morning Sickness

Hello ladies!

I am 6 wks and 1 day. I know everyones body is different but I do not have any morning sickness. Should I be concerned about this?

I have not been pregnant, but my best friend has. I think she got sick a couple of times during her pregnancy. She discovered if she ate on a schedule then she did not get morning sickness.

My mother stated she never got morning sickness when she was pregnant with me. So I think it is normal.

I think it's still early for you to feel morning sickness, it may come your way. Hope not though!

Enjoy it while you can. It can come at any time. Hey hopefully you're a lucky one that doesn't get it.

I felt fine until about 8 weeks (although I was really tired). Then I was mostly nauseous (and all day), but no puking. I think everyone is a little different...

If it's going to kick in, it usually kicks in somewhere around 6-8 weeks.

Not every woman has mornng sickness. I had a friend that had 3 miscarriages, had horrible morning sickness with all of them, but then on the pregnancy that gave her her healthy baby girl, she didn't have any morning sickness.

And I had horrible morning sickness with both of my pregnancies, which I lost.

The rule of morning sickness = healthy pregnancy is a myth. It comes from the fact that morning sickness is usually caused by the pregnancy hormones and women with low hormones miscarry. But that doesn't translate to "no morning sickness = low hormones" Your REs are surely measuring your hormones, so they should be fine! Could just be that you're lucky. Or maybe morning sickness is lurking around the corner. Either way, enjoy feeling good for now!

About 25% of women do not get morning sickness at all during their pregnancy. For women who do, it might not show up until 8 weeks or later. Don't worry!

It's completely normal. Some women experience morning sickness at any time during the pregnancy while others don't. I saw a show where this lady had morning sickness from the beginning to the end of her pregnancy. Poor thing. My mom and sis both had morning sickness but I never had it with my little girl. Although I did get wicked heartburn in my last trimester. Consider yourself lucky and enjoy pregnancy!
