Day 5 of injections. Feeling bloated, headaches,fat, and grumpy. Oh, and lazy. Almost like I have a bad hangover but without the fun the night before. It's going to be all worth it.

Would I be risking much if I drank 1 or 2 beers? Feel like an alchy asking but it would be nice to have a beer or glass of wine with dinner. Plus helps me unwind. Thoughts, ladies?

Anyone else have these side effects with lupron?

I didn't use lupron but I can tell those only have gotten worse for me. I only hope in the it is all worth it.
My RE said it is okay to have a glass of wine with dinner. Just don't over do it. At my IVF class they actually suggested a glass of wine after the transfer is okay too because it may help you to relax.

A drink or 2 every now and then isn't going to hurt you. Just think of all the lucky bitches who get knocked up after a bottle of tequila!

I had massive headaches on lurpon. I started estrogen after a week or two and that's when the headaches got better. Not sure if it was the estrogen or my body just getting use to the meds.

And Yes, by all means. Have a drink or two at dinner especially if it helps you unwind! I had a BIG glass of wine the night before transfer and loved every sip of it! LOL
