Well alot of times whenever been trying for years have a child . Sometimes it can feel like a schedule . Because always thinking ok tonight the night we sleep together try get pregnant or this and that . Thats why sometimes have go out on date nights and do stuff together that you did whenever first together or a couple . That made you very happy and also makes you realize why you fell in love first place . Always try make sure hold hands and be affectionate with each other that way keep passion and the connection alive and don't lose it . Dress up every now and then try make it exciting and do romantic things . I know what that can be like whenever just feels like something just have to do try have a child . take care. We were getting that way before we conceived last fall... but I think we were lucky: we got so fed up with the whole thing that it became a joke and we just sort of shrugged and gave up. We moved on to starting adoption... and then we got pregnant. We were thrilled, and all the laughter was back! And then I miscarried... and as horrible as that was, it brought us even closer. And now we're getting fed up with trying again... I just told my husband yesterday that we were never having planned sex again!

Fortunately for me, hubby and I have always been best friends, long before we were a couple. I don't think there's anything wrong with feeling more like best friends than like an intimate couple for a little while. But my best advice for getting the romance back is to remember how the romance started: if it started over corny movies with popcorn, start either going to the movies or having a designated movie night at home. Make yourself a little mandated couple time.

Lina, I am right there with you. My husband and I are pretty open with each other and we talk about our lack of sex a lot, but haven't come to a conclusion yet. We are really trying, though. It's like we just got used to not having sex with IVF and learned how to live without it. We have talked about a sex counselor but haven't researched that yet.
One thing that we are trying is taking turns being the initiator. That way one person isn't pressured to always "start" things. We have had sex about 4 times in the past couple months which is a huge improvement for us!!
