Hey Everyone,

As you can see from the title of this post, I am starting to lose hope that I will ever become pregnant. I am 28yrs old, about to be 29. My husband and I started dating back in 2014, after being friends since 2010, and we have never used any type of birth control. After realizing we never used birth control and we never got pregnant, I knew that it was going to be difficult becoming pregnant.

We were married in 2016 and immediately started trying to conceive. In March of 2017 we started a regiment of Clomid and Progesterone prescribed by my OBGYN. After nothing but negative pregnancy tests we sought out a fertility clinic in November 2017. We went through all the testing and I was diagnosed with Unexplained Infertility in February 2018. Everything is perfectly fine with my husband as well.

My first IUI was March 2018... My meds were changed to 7.5mg of Letrozole and a 2.5mg Ovidrel Injection. Now it's May and I am about to do my 4th IUI next week. I'm so depressed that I cannot seem to do what other women can. I just don't understand how I could not be getting pregnant when all my tests are coming back fine and the conditions for each IUI are also perfect (Sperm count, mobility, uterine lining, healthy follicles, etc.). The medications I am on just make everything worse. I am sad all the time, sometimes I have insomnia, joint pain, cramps, exhaustion, mood swings, etc. I wish I could stop the meds, but I know this is what it will take to have the family I have always wanted.

Everyone is getting accidentally pregnant around me 24/7. My best friend was married in October 2017 and managed to get pregnent on their first try. It kills me everytime I see her. I want to be happy for her, but my own misery consumes me. My husband's neice became pregnant too... She is 22ish, not married, didn't have a stable job, no car, living with her mom... I don't understand how someone like that can become pregnant, but I can't. Am I really that undeserving?

Next weeks IUI may be my last. They said after the 4th IUI I would need to meet with the doctor to discuss other options... which probably means IVF. I am so nervous and anxious that this IUI won't work and I'll have to do IVF. It's the last thing I want to do, but what other options do I have :'(

I know how you feel I am in the same situation as you. My husband and I have know each other for ten years. We have never used any kind of protection. We got married in 2014 and started trying winter 2015 and since then nothing has ever happened. We went to a fertility clinic and I was diagnosed with low eggs. We did 4 rounds of IUI letrozole and trigger shot. Everything was healthy I just can't seem to catch. It's hard to go through but you have to take it day by day. I find keeping a journal helps to get my feelings out and taking Lonny walks. The doctors put me on Coenzyme Q10 it's suppose to help keep my eggs healthy and strong, woman like us just have to keep positive that this will happen for us. I am here if you need someone to talk to. I know how you feel it's the worst pain ever. It makes it even hard when you have no one to talk to about this. Then everyone you think you can talk to is knocked up and hiding it from you. That's the worst feeling . Like I said if you want to talk I am here to listen I have no one to talk to bout my situation and it hurts me. I hate seeing other people depressed.

Thank you so much! I'd love someone to talk to. I can talk to my husband, but I know he just feels helpless because he doesn't know how to comfort me. Maybe I'll get some CoQ10 preemptively. I would love that so much to. I know how you feel I can't really talk to my hubby about it because he doesn't know what to say half the time, I will send you a Facebook request and we can chit chat on there I hardly use this site to. I just found it and thought maybe I can find some one to talk. seeing as how I can't trust my friends and they don't care. We can be each other's support and get through our days together if you like.

Hi. I know exactly how you feel..
I ve been married for 8 years and we ve never used condoms... have had 7 failed ivfs.. and all my friend have had 1-3 children and so has my work collegues..
Every time i look around someone is getting pregnant and i m wondering why is it so hard for me!? Y do i have to go through all this and the BFN??!

Myself I know a few ladies who got pregnant via IVF, IVF DE and IVF PGS NGS, and have been very happy as their family is complete now.

I completely understand......i am so tired and frustrated every month trying to hold on to a little hope. I feel helpless. I wish people will stop asking me when i am going to have a baby cause very soon i will start screaming. I dont like going to baby showers. I dont even like going to my obgyn anymore. I have so much pain in my heart but i am always smiling that i am starting to think thats not normal. I jus needed to vent a little.

I feel like I am reading my own bio when I read yours. Everything for is in working order, so why isn’t it happening? I just did my first IUI this month and got my period today. Also found out a close friend is pregnant today. Talk about losing hope. Anyway, you are not alone. I am here with you. Good luck ((hug))
