Also, the jealousy is such a big part of this. I look at other women and i'm like i want a glass of the water you drink, b/c it clearly seems like you don't even have to try and you're expecting. I feel like a terrible person when i think this way b/c i have so much to be grateful and appreciative for that it's like who is this envious person?! But just know that you are not alone in feeling like that, that we all feel this way at one point or another, and you just have to breathe and remember that you are doing the very best you can. What doe DH think about using donor? I'm sure it's not ideal but does your Dr think that can provide a positive outcome?
Best of luck and stay strong. We are all in a similar boat in one way or another, and i hope you find the support here that you need.
Best of luck and keep us posted!
It's so hard seeing month after month and even year after year go by without a little one in your arms. I totally feel the same by about jealous thoughts - it feels awful doesn't it? One of my co-workers complains about her children and being pregnant etc etc and I want to run away crying. I'm trying to focus on one day at a time and honing in on things that make me happy.
Try not to judge your emotions - it's a tough journey and you are allowed to feel the way you do. Surround yourself with people that love you, treat yourself to things you enjoy, allow yourself to have a good cry once in a while and I believe a walk in some fresh air soothes the soul ; ) You're stronger than you think!!
Sending love your way! Good luck as you continue on.. Keep us posted. xx
During our ivf I only told a few close people and all others tgat ask their ignorant questions "When are you guys going to have a baby?" Ahhh I wanted to shoot them. I was lucky to fibally have a son from ivf and now the sane people bombard me witb the rude question so when comes nr2? People who have no fertility issues just don't realize the pain their question or comments cause. That's very hard to deal with. The jealousy also so normal. Don't feel asgsned if your emotion or feelings or thoughts. This is a very hard emotional roller coaster. Try to surround you with people who help you in a positive way. If that means for right now to take a little distance from friends who just pop up pregnant so be it. Explain them in a letter what you're going through if you like. But you don't need to ignore your pain. If at all possible find a local infertility support group (it helped me to meet with other local couples going through the same and just to feel you are not alone cause you aren't. Hugs
