I was wondering what your lining should be for the baby to implant? I don't recall what mine was on Sat. - but I worry that maybe it's not thick enough. I'm assuming it should be thicker so the baby can attach...or does it get thicker AFTER the baby attaches?

At my clinic, they like it to be between 8.5mm and 14mm. Did they say to your that your lining as thin/ If not then it's probably fine. Good luck!

No they didn't say it was thin...but I only think it was 9 mm on Sat. - does it get thicker over time stil?

I'm assuming that the RE had to of checked my lining on Sat. when I went in for U/S and IUI. This wasn't my usual doctor though...but I can't imagine they wouldn't of checked. Now I can't recall if she told me 9 mm or not! Ugh...I'm not going to worry about it...like you said if they didn't mention it it's probably fine!

Oh yeah, it keeps thickening, even after ovulation. The progesterone increase after ovulation will continue to thicken it. 9mm is just fine, don't worry!

I think you are OK. I think mine was 11mm, but I am sure your RE would not have gone through with it if your linig wasn't completely ready. It does get thicker.

Are you on Clomid? or Injectables? Clomid can make it thin out...

Sweetpea - like you I never knew to ask about my lining- I trusted my doc, but after 5 iui's and 2 ivf's my questions began to rush.(thanks to the exp.ladies here) I've learned to ask on U/S - measurment of follicles and lining. i began to realize these docs don't offer info. somewhere in the profile section it allows you to record your info privately for yourself. Its really good to know when the nurse calls after tests to ask her FSH and LH levels too. they don't offer, but it will help guide you as you plan to meet your goal. GOOD LUCK Pea!
