Last FET

well after having my BFN confirmed on Monday, It didn't take long for my Dh to convince me to try for our last FET. I will start on the tablets tonight and in 20 days go for the transfer.

this is our last embie so if it doesn't take, I really don't know if we can afford another fresh IVF as our savings have almost disappeared.

anyone have any success with FET? am I just chasing rainbows?

any insights would help

i had one FET and it didnot work. but i heard alot of couples who have success after FET.

I have a friend who had 3 fresh cycles - 2 were MC & 1 didn't take. Then she had FET and got pregnant with twin boys who are both born now & healthy little guys.

I know there are some studies that if the embryos haven't been damaged by freezing (and if they are good embryos in general), then there's actualy *better* chances with a FET than a fresh because the body isn't under as much stress as it is in the post-stim, post ER time period. I have two friends that conceived with FETs.

I had a successful FET after overstimulating. I'm almost 6 mos pregnant now. I think the FET was easier on my body.

I had a successful FET with my daughter who is now 3 1/2. I also will be doing my last FET soon. I am just wating for my cycle to start. I think FET are easier on the body too and I have also heard that they have done studies and that if a embie can survive a thaw it is more likely to survive the implant. We have had failed FETs too though. Good luck and I wish the best for you!
