Although you posted this on 4.03, I was searching the internet for a support group. I was feeling sad myself about my journey. I want you to know I have been trying for 2 years, and I urge you to keep trying. I found out another couple close to us is pregnant tonight, and I'm trying not to be jealous. Tonight was just my breaking point. I needed to find support, so I hopped on here. I have yet to try IUI and will all the COVID stuff we won't be for a while. I just wanted to urge you to keep going, since I'm at 2 years. It does get slightly easier emotionally. I remember I started accepting and trying different options after a year. The hardest part is the first few months I think. Hang in there!
I feel the same way every month Bee. Last month, I thought maybe this could be it because my period was 3 days late and I told myself if it didn't come the next morning, I was going to do a test. My period showed that night. The worst part of this whole thing is social media, seeing all your friends on posting up their pregnancy announcements, gender reveal and baby photos. I often wonder why it is so hard for so many of us and so easy for others.
I just had an HSG test done on the 7th. My remaining fallopian tube is not blocked and my husband's lab work all came back normal. My doctor is starting me on Femara next cycle to boost my ovulation. I am hoping this works for us. I am trying to be optimistic.
This path is very hard to pass..
Sorry to hear this.
Mutual tolerance and respect is the key through this path. Dh has always been amazing for me. The time we find out about infertility divided our life in two - before and after. But at the same time it made us both stronger and even more loving and supporting. We couldn't hold the pregnancies after several ivf shots.. This was a long and tough way to pass for both. But afterall we keep on moving. We're currently on a completely new route – own egg surrogacy. All this covid nightmare makes the process a bit more intricate, but I'm sure the clinic's doing its best to help. This pains to see so many youngies are struggling for LOs..
Me - 42. endometriosis & PCOS adding other diagnosis. ttc since 11/2014.
Got several IUIs under the belt – all BFN. IVF#1: retrieved 7 mature, 6 fertilzed. Fresh cycle- transfer 1 grade B embryo/ hatched. On progesterone/ estradiol. Miscarried. IVF#2-IVF#4 – similar results - all miscarriages. Each time beta rising then extremelly falling down. We never got exact explanation why it was happening to us. Our previous doc just told ''It happens.'' And this answer broke us even more. Then we both decided we wanted to switch the clinics/treatment plans. Started to look for more reasonable/affordable prices. This way led us abroad where our new doc told it was going to be surrogacy.
If no other way was left, then we agreed. At least we could proceed with trying out my own eggs, keeping my own genes..
